Kare Kare is a very savory stew made with peanut butter. It is a very popular salty and savory dish, but is usually cooked for holidays and birthdays because it can take a while to make. Our Kare Kare is made with a mix of oxtail and tripe for more flavor and variety. But the star of the show is our liquid gold, or peanut butter sauce. We use a mix of creamy and chunky peanut butter for a rick flavor, and other seasonings like annatto for extra flavor. Finally, we mix in vegetables like string beans, eggplants, and bok choy for more color and freshness. It is delicious and very filling served with rice.
